Arman Hassanpoor

Representative Director & COO - HVDC NorthEast Asia Region, Hitachi Energy

Dr. Arman Hassanpoor is the Representative Director & COO for Hitachi Energy Grid Integration - HVDC since 2022. He is responsible for developing the transmission grid and offshore wind business in the North-East Asia region.

From 2017 to 2022, he led the research and development unit in China. Prior to that, he served as a project manager and technical lead in Sweden. He received his PhD from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, in 2016, and his MSc from Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, in 2011.
